CJA 262 Introduction to Correctional Treatment
Provides an overview of correctional treatment within the criminal justice system. Provides insight into the role and purpose of effective correctional treatment strategies and programs, including the responsibilities of providers and clients.
Prerequisites: CJA 105, RDWR 115 or placement in a higher level.
Addendum: Students attending this course study the proper use of correctional treatment programs and techniques. Included are various diagnostic methods and prescriptive treatment modalities.
