ELT 127 Basic Programmable Controllers - (PC Based)
Basic Programmable Controllers Develops the student's understanding of the complete operation of a variety of programmable controllers. The applications, operations, and programming of PLC's are the areas of study with the main emphasis on programming (computers will be used as programmers). Additional supply fee may be required.
Addendum: This course will be presented by means of lecture/discussion sessions, demonstrations, and heavy emphasis on the "Hands-On" laboratory exercises. Allen Bradley SLC500 and AB Micrologix 1000 Programmable Controllers will be used in conjunction with RS Logix 5000. (equivalent to APR 127)
