CJA 263 Introduction to Corrections Casework
	 Introduces the process of casework and case management in a correctional setting. Develops both a theoretical and practical base of knowledge to enable the student to develop counseling techniques. 
Prerequisite: CJA 105; WR 121
Addendum: Students participating in this course will study some of the more common techniques used in correctional casework settings including; reality therapy, confrontation therapy, social support, cognitive skills, behavior modification, substance abuse recovery.
