BI 221 Principles of Biology: Cells
Provides an introduction to fundamental biological concepts and theories about the chemical and molecular basis of life, structure and function of cells, the transformation of energy and matter and information flow at a cellular, molecular and genetic level. This is the first course of a three-course sequence for students majoring in biology and the sciences, including pre-medical, pre-dental, chiropractic, pharmacy, and related fields. Prerequisites: WR 121 and MTH 70 or equivalent placement test scores. Audit available.
