TBCC has a Healthcare Advisory Committee comprised of individuals who represent healthcare organizations in Tillamook County. This committee requested that TBCC build a healthcare pathway that include an AAS in Healthcare Administration as an overarching, parent degree for the Career Pathway Certificates.  This AAS prepares students for career advancement and leadership roles in the healthcare field. This is a 90-95 credit Associate of Applied Science degree that provides business management courses and allows students to gain clinical hands-on training in their choice of Career Pathway Certificate for phlebotomy, medical assisting, or emergency medical services.

1. Employ skills necessary to direct and coordinate a team to ensure quality healthcare services and efficient operations of a clinic/department.
2. Communicate effectively, appropriately, and professionally in business management situations using correct terminology related to the healthcare environment.
3. Demonstrate problem solving skills related to healthcare management using elements of successful leadership and critical thinking skills.
