MCH 102 Introduction to Manufacturing
This course includes an orientation to the use of personal computers; introduction to problem solving and laboratory procedures, a survey of common manufacturing processes, including a history of manufacturing technology; economic considerations associated with manufacturing; the influence of product design on process selection on manufacturing taxonomy, surface finish, tolerances, and functional specifications. The completion of the class and assessment will result in an MSSC certificate in Manufacturing Processes and Production. A fee of $195.00 covers the eLearning modules and test fee.
