BI 231 Human Anatomy and Physiology I

Introduces chemistry, cells, tissues, and the integument, skeletal muscular and excitable tissues. It is the first course of a three-course sequence. Includes lecture discussions complemented by laboratories involving microscopy, animal dissection, physiological and computer-based exercises. Prerequisites: RDWR 115, MTH 60 or MTH 70 or placement above these levels, and BI 112. Additional supply fee may be required.
