Provides an introduction to the essential skills needed to maintain safety in industrial workplaces and an introduction to the construction and carpentry trades. Includes information regarding general accident prevention. Applies OSHA and OR-OSHA rules and laws to develop safe operational processes and procedures for common situations that occur in manufacturing and construction industries. Students earn OSHA-10 certification as a part of the course.
