Provides advanced knowledge and skills needed to design, install, maintain, service and troubleshoot electric motors. Focuses on the operation and design of control systems, specifically motor starters and controllers. Electromagnetic controls, motors and transformers will also be covered. Students will create their own circuit designs to solve different motor control problems and will engage in advanced trouble-shooting of electric motor controls. This class is the second class in the Motor controls sequence Prerequisite: ELT 201 (Equivalent to APR 202)
