ART 204 History of Western Art I
Examines visual art and architecture as a reflection of human interaction with the socio- political and physical environment of a particular era. Objectives center on viewing, analyzing, and comparing many art forms in a historical context, and covers the Paleolithic, Ancient Near Eastern, and Aegean cultures, beginning about 30,000 BCE. Prerequisites: RDWR 115 and MTH 20 or placement above these levels.
