Welcome To Tillamook Bay Community College

WELCOME to the Tillamook Bay Community College Online Catalog for 2023-24!

Our online catalog is fully active and searchable and allows students to find all the same information that was in our printed catalogs. You can even easily print out sections of the catalog if you so desire. We hope you find this a useful resource if you are exploring coming to TBCC for the first time or returning to the college from last year.

The College is working on many new initiatives that will give students more program options and provide even more student support services and resources to help you be successful in achieving your educational goals. First, we are in the process of developing our own Nursing program. We will know by June if approved and plan to start the first cohort of Nursing students in Winter 2024.

Second, TBCC received a Title III grant that will provide the resources needed to transform student services and fully develop our learning communities and career services The grant is also helping the college to get the nursing program off the ground.

We have two big construction projects started at the college.  We are in the process of designing our new Healthcare Education Building across the driveway from the main campus. It will contain all of our healthcare programs, office space that is badly needed, and a large community event center that can be used for TBCC graduations and community meetings and events. We plan to break ground for the new building next winter and have it ready to open in June 2025.

Our new Center for Industrial Technology building across Third Street from the main campus will also be renovated this coming year so our Manufacturing and Welding classes can be held there. We plan to offer classes there by winter 2024.

We are continuing to increase the number of classes being taught in our new advanced technology called Hy-flex. It provides students the opportunity to be face to face, online, or remote on Zoom for any or all of the class sessions. It will provide students with more flexibility to choose the class mode that fits their lives the best. We are excited to offer that technology.

There are a lot of exciting things happening at TBCC this coming year and I hope you will join us as we work very hard to provide quality higher education opportunities for all of Tillamook County. Come visit our campus and talk to our student success coaches about how we can help change your life through education.
